Let's play two!

As we last left our hero, he was off on a journey to Wrigley Field. Waht adventures waited for him there? The game on Thursday was awesome. Danny and I met Alicia at Wrigley, where we saw an impressive victory by the Cubs(judging by the women sitting near me, a lot of women cared more about Mark Prior than the game). Danny and I had a great time and I hope Alicia did too. As a sidenote, its tough to sit in between 2 people and talk to them the whole time w/o your neck killing you. As a treat, I got to go to Wrigley the next day and saw the Cubs win 11-1. Not only was it a great game (Derrek Lee is amazing), but it was fun just to people watch at Wrigley. There are so many colorful characters, you get a feeling of how diverse our city is. Plus, Cubs fans make entertaining drunks. The rest of the trip was nice and relaxing, as Danny and I did various immature things such as watching several atrocious action movies. Too soon, I was back here for work, dealing with a huge Rottweiler terrified of men and 2 huge bull mastiffs with attitude problems.

The next few weeks are gonna be really busy. The more I think about Rome, the more I realize how unprepared I am to go. This coming weekend I will be at Loyola visiting friends and helping Lori move out of her apt. The weekend after, I'm going to have some friends over, since my parents will be out of town (let me know if you're interested). The weekend after that is my Grandma's 80th bday party. Plus, I have work at all sorts of odd hours. And I want to say goodbye to as many friends as I can before I leave. I feel like my whole summer has been turned upside down, but I keep moving on.

Finally, I have an opportunity for you all. Feeling frustrated or angry? Just like to break things? Well, we have the stone base to our fountain out front. My parents got a new one, so the old one is getting thrown out. It's too big to fit in the garbage can and they won't take it as is, so logically we have decided to break it up with a sledgehammer. Since we used to sell tools, we have a nice heavy sledge that will do the job, so if you want to take a swing, let me know. I'm sure I'm going to be venting a little frustration. Anywho, I'm about to pass out, so Davo signing off.

Hey Davo, I really would be most interested in hanging out next weekend but it would probably have to be Sunday, so I don't know how that works out for you. Lemme know!
